Him will have to change their name for HER in their USA gigs because there are another grupo with the name HIM. It has been confirmed that HIM will use the name 'HER' in the U.S.:
"Due to a previously established band in the U.S. using the name HIM (and unwilling to part with it), the band has decided to adopt the name "Her" for their U.S. releases / endeavors. A more formal statement from the band / management should be available in coming weeks".

ROCKWAVE FESTIVAL Banned!! We hope that all above will take the responsability to the thousand of fans who bought the tickets of the Rockwave festival the true reason why the event will not take place this year, something that they diligently refuse to do so far acting in a most condemnable way.

In Joensuu, Eastern Finland, will be the Ilosaari festival on 13 th July and HIM will be there, tickets are already available in lippupalvelu.
The movie about the miserable life of Ryan Dunn will be out in American theathes in August and this movie has 5 HIM tracks in the soundtrack.

The tickets presale for the Rockwave festival 2002 has begun! presale in Athens is taking place in Ticket house in Thessaloniki- Ethnikis amynas, 19, (0310 - 253630)
the prices are: for all three days 90 Euros and for one day 36 Euros.

HIM will be at the Tammerfest City festival in Tampere july 20th. Other acts on the bill are 69 eyes & Trio Niskalaukausl. Tickets will be available in Lippupalvelu from monday april 22th.

It seems that HIM will perform at Pepsi Sziget 2002, 1st Auguts - the festival will be from July 31 to August 7th. The staff of Pepsi Sizget usually don't have any information this early. Although this year they've managed to get some very early estimates, keep in mind, that the information about the date could be inaccurate. It's too early to tell.

The album is due to be released in May (worldwide)

The Kotipelto (a.k.a. 'Bendover')-single 'Beginning' entered the Official Finnish Charts at #4, being the highest new entry.
According to Ville Valo the next HIM single will be released at the end of the year/beginning of next year.

The first 'Bendover' single will be released on March 15th. The single will be available only in Finland and at the Stratoshop

Last year they won two awards, for 'best group' and 'best album'
